In 2000 I chucked in my job as an art gallery curator and retrained in horticulture while looking for a job outside. I am now building a business based around my twin passions - plants and fabrics - and rooted firmly in the beautiful area where I live. In the summer I grow cut flowers and herbs, in the winter I sew things from wonderful textiles. Both are sold from a van in my drive and at farmers markets.
I am based near to Drymen in the Loch Lomond National Park in Scotland.
I live with Euan, our two daughters Zoe and Katie, 3 cats, 1 dog, 7 chickens, 3 ducks and a rabbit.

Oh bless them, they are gorgeous. If I weren't sat here with a head cold I'd be able to smell them too...Thank you so much for that!
They are so pretty ...I just love sweet peas.

Beautiful.
Aren't those supports the ones your husband made?
I love white sweet peas - they have very special family memories for me.
Is there any one in the world who doesn't like sweet peas? Somehow I doubt it.
So beautiful, the scent must be amazing, one lucky bride having all those flowers at her wedding.

Gorgeous. I wish I could get mine to flower like that - each year I vow to plant more, and one year I'll succeed!
They must have made splendid wedding flowers.
They are absolutely beautiful! I wish mine were doing as well as yours :) Next year I plan to plant LOTS more!
